Hayward city mayor Mike Sweeney and city council members Anna May-Bruno and Kevin Dowling graced this year’s HOA Independence Day celebration that featured dance and tai chi performances, childrens’ games, free hamburgers and hot dogs, a chili cooking contest (judged by Mayor Sweeney), and a display by the Hayward city fire department.

Public hearing set for new electric plant
|

Tierra Energy’s bid to build a 115MW gas-powered electric plant off Depot Road is up for public comments at a hearing starting 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21 at Hayward City Hall, 777 B Street. Written comments can also be submitted via email until July 28 to docket@energy.state.ca.us or mailed to Docket Unit, California Energy Commission, 1516 Ninth Street M.S. 15, Sacramento, CA 95814. Comments should refer to "06-AFC-6."

The Tierra plant would consist of fourteen natural gas-fired generators that will operate during periods of peak electricity demand in the Bay Area.

Our community is located in North California’s East Bay. The Eden Shores Homeowners Association is made up of 534 single-family homes. It includes a clubhouse, a pool, and a 2-acre private park.

Dead street light? What to do
|
|
|
|
If you notice a "dead" street light in your area, take down the number that's at the base of the lamp post (pole #) and then send an email with the information to StreetLightRepair@EdenShoresHOA.org. Your HOA will have the street light repaired.

Mailbox vandalized/damaged?
|
|
|
|
If your mailbox is vandalized/damaged: 1. Call the USPS Maintenance Supervisor at 510-783-5693; give a description of the damage and the mailbox location; 2. Call Lt Sheryl Boykins (510-293-7296 HPD) and make a report; 3. Email or call Michelle New at Walsh PM (see HOA Contacts); if you email her, copy it to President@EdenShoresHOA.org. If you could not receive mail at your box because it is damaged, pick up your mail at the USPS branch at 24438 Santa Clara Street. Click here for driving directions.
