The City of Hayward staged Neighborhood Meetings #1 and #2 at the Eden Shores Homeowners Association clubhouse Thursday, January 14, 2010. Mayor Mike Sweeney, Assistant City Manager Fran David, Councilwoman Anna Laveria May, and city police and government officials were on hand to brief residents on the status of the city's Neighborhood Partnership Program and to field questions on neighborhood commerce, crime, security strategies, traffic safety, and the environment.

Storm fails to dampen Xmas Party spirit
|

Braving a storm, community children flocked to the HOA clubhouse Saturday, Dec. 12 to celebrate Christmas. City officials, including Mayor and Mrs. Mike Sweeney, city manager Greg Jones, and city council member Anna May were present at the annual event sponsored by the HOA social committee.
|
|
As in the previous year, George Adas acted as Santa Claus for the children who were entertained by a Michael Jackson dance and Christmas caroling led by Betty Huang. Council member May drew raffle prizes.

Basketball Court and Pool Access

Now you can use your Swimming Pool card key to access the HOA Basketball Court during published hours of availability. The basketball court has been fenced in and equipped with locks in order to control its unauthorized and improper use.

 Our community is located in North California’s East Bay. The Eden Shores Homeowners Association is made up of 534 single-family homes. It includes a clubhouse, a pool, and a 2-acre private park.

 Tom Santos, our new HOA handyman, has been cleaning up graffiti in the community and repairing vandalized community mailboxes. Tom has also been reinforcing the mailboxes to make them “vandal proof.”

Dead street light? What to do
|
|
|
|
If you notice a "dead" street light in your area, take down the number that's at the base of the lamp post (pole #) and then send an email with the information to StreetLightRepair@EdenShoresHOA.org. Your HOA will have the street light repaired.

|
Mailbox vandalized/damaged?
|
|
|
|
If your mailbox is vandalized/damaged:
1. Call the USPS Maintenance Supervisor at 510-783-5693; give a description of the damage and the mailbox location;
2. Call Lt Sheryl Boykins (510-293-7296 HPD) and make a report;
3. Email or call Michelle New at Walsh PM (see HOA Contacts); if you email her, copy it to President@EdenShoresHOA.org.
